Dr. Julia Berger: Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Julia Berger grew up in Boca Raton, FL where her love of animals began early in life. Her childhood was spent caring for a variety of animals from cats and dogs to frogs, lizards and geckos. Dr. Julia attended the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and moved back to south Florida to practice veterinary medicine.
Dr. Julia’s professional interests include internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. While attending veterinary school, Dr. Julia donated her time to the Young Williams Animal Center helping to spay and neuter homeless animals. She also traveled to the Cook Islands for an externship at Te Are Manu Animal Hospital where she was able to spay, neuter and provide medical care to hundreds of animals in an underprivileged area.
When not at work, Dr. Julia enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog Dexter. She plans on exploring all the local state parks and becoming scuba certified. She hopes to teach Dexter how to sit on a paddleboard with her so he can enjoy the ocean too.
